Estate Liquidation
Naturally estate liquidations are at the core of a company called Delaware Estate Sales. Going through a lifetime of accumulation is something very few people have the time to do. Even if you have the time our trained eyes can find value in things you thought were trash.
Phase 1: Sort, Organize, Pack
Before we can sell anything, we need to organize, sort, and pack. Anything odd, rare, collectible may be researched. We find unique things daily so our staff knows alot already. The best way to do this is for the family to remove anything they want to keep. Removal works best. Tags fall off. Notes get lost. Making a keeper room works okay if everything in the room is staying. We'll just keep out.
Phase 2: Move & Inventory
Once everything is packed and sorted it is moved to our facilities. Your real estate is now unencumbered by all the stuff in it! The real estate is always the most valuable part of an estate. Once the items are uloaded we conduct a full inventory and make determinations on the best venue for each item.
Phase 3: Liquidation
Our goal is to maximize the price received for the items in the estate. We do this through a multi-channel sales approach. Some items are sold in our resale shop, others directly to auction, some belong on Ebay, and we have network of dealers we work with. Our methods have proved to generate quality returns. And since we sell your items on a commission basis you can be certain we'll work to get you top dollar for everything.
